Veteran Disability Services

Struggling to get the VA benefits you deserve?

You served your country and now seem to be facing a different battle — proving how your service has affected your relationships, life, work, and mental health for a VA disability claim.

Maybe you’ve already filed, only to receive a denial or a lower rating than expected. Or perhaps you’re about to submit your claim but worry that a rushed, impersonal Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam won’t truly capture what you’re going through.

The process alone can be frustrating, overwhelming, and unfair. But you don’t have to go through it alone or unprepared.

A private mental health C&P evaluation, DBQ and Nexus Letter help ensure a fair rating.

A VA C&P exam isn’t always thorough, and it’s not uncommon for veterans to feel dismissed, misunderstood, or rushed.

A private mental health C&P evaluation ensures your condition is properly documented by an independent expert— someone who takes the time to listen, assess, and provide a Disability Benefits Questionnaire and Nexus Letter that accurately reflect your struggles and their impact.

Timely, and more than a diagnosis.

Our Veteran Disability Service evaluations consist of far more than a diagnosis and are accessible to you within 48 hours. We offer the following services, as needed and appropriate for your case and circumstances specifically:

Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ)     $500

A Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) is a standardized form used by the VA to evaluate a veteran’s mental health conditions. It offers detailed insight into the severity of symptoms and how they affect the veteran’s daily functioning and ability to work. DBQs are essential for the VA to accurately determine the appropriate disability rating.

We assist with completion of the following DBQs, covering a range of mental health conditions to help establish service connection and for rating increases:

  • Initial PTSD
  • Review PTSD
  • Mental Disorders (Other than PTSD and Eating Disorders)
  • Eating Disorder

Nexus Letter     $300

A nexus letter is a comprehensive clinical opinion provided by a psychologist that connects a veteran’s current mental health condition to their military service. It plays a critical role in supporting and establishing the level of service connection for a VA disability claim. We provide two types of nexus letter, direct and secondary. Secondary nexus letters establish a link between an already diagnosed condition like ED, sleep apnea, migraines and obesity (by an MD) and your already service connected PTSD, depression and/or anxiety ($500).

Total Disability Individual Unemployability Letter       $300

A TDIU letter assesses whether a veteran’s service-connected disabilities prevent them from securing or maintaining substantially gainful employment. This evaluation is often essential for veterans pursuing a total disability rating due to unemployability.
