Struggling to get the VA benefits you deserve?

You served your country, and now seem to be facing a different battle—having to prove the impact what you’ve gone through in

service has had on your mental health for your VA disability claim.

Maybe you’ve already filed, only to receive a denial or a lower rating than expected.

Or perhaps you’re about to submit your claim but worry that a rushed, impersonal Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam won’t

truly capture what you’re going through.

The process itself can feel frustrating, overwhelming, and unfair. But you don’t have to go through it alone or unprepared.

A private mental health C&P evaluation: Helping to ensure a fair rating.

A VA C&P exam isn’t always thorough, and it’s not uncommon for veterans to feel dismissed, misunderstood, or rushed.

A private mental health C&P evaluation ensures your condition is properly documented by an independent expert—

someone who takes the time to listen, assess, and provide a detailed report that accurately reflects your struggles and their impact.

Not just a diagnosis.

Our Veteran’s evaluations entail far more than a diagnosis. We offer the following services, as needed and appropriate for your case

and circumstances specifically:

Initial 30-Minute Interview and Record Review

Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ)

  • A DBQ is a standardized form used by the VA to document a veteran’s mental health conditions. It provides detailed information on the severity and impact of these conditions on the veteran’s daily life and employability. DBQs are crucial for the VA to assess and rate the disability accurately.
  • We assist with DBQs for the following mental health conditions:
    • Initial PTSD Disability Benefits Questionnaire
    • Review of PTSD Disability Benefits Questionnaire
    • Mental Disorders (Other than PTSD and Eating Disorders) Disability Benefits Questionnaire
    • Review of Mental Disorders (Other than PTSD and Eating Disorders) Disability Benefits Questionnaire
    • Eating Disorder Disability Benefits Questionnaire

Nexus Letter

  • A nexus letter is a detailed clinical opinion written by a psychologist that links a veteran’s current mental health condition to their military service. This letter is essential for establishing the tier of service connection for the disability claim.

Total Disability Individual Unemployability Letter

  • A TDIU letter evaluates whether a veteran’s service-connected disabilities prevent them from maintaining substantially gainful employment. This letter can be critical for veterans seeking a total disability rating based on unemployability.

Cognitive, Behavioral and Emotional Testing

  • This testing, lasting 30 to 90 minutes, may be recommended to support your DBQ, Nexus Letter, or TDIU evaluation. It includes emotion-personality tests like the MMPI-3 or MCMI-IV to assess your emotional symptoms and personality functioning. These tests are crucial for confirming the presence of conditions like PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, and major depressive disorder.

After the initial interview and record review, you will be given a quote based on the number of additional services needed to perform to create the strongest possible disability claim
